I’ll have to give all the credit to the Maine landscape. “Made for the camera!” Also, my late parents for having the wisdom to latch on to this prime waterfront property some four decades ago!
As my brother Jim said, all I failed to convey was how cold it was — particularly since one of our “opening week problems” was a “broken beyond repair” propane gas furnace. Fortunately, we had lots of space heaters!
Notwithstanding the weather, my son Will and I managed to get out for some early season kayaking! All in all, I’d as soon be in Maine as anywhere!
