We now have a President who looks and acts like Mussolini, advised by Steve Miller who looks and acts like Joseph Goebbels and represented by someone (Giuliani) who looks and acts like Nosferatu. Where does Trump get these people?

Pardon me for being so repetitive, but:
according to 4th Turning theory historians argue we go through this every 4 generations, and then we lurch into a crisis as we resolve our relentless growth South and West. At the 4th Turning, a heroic generation saves the day.
After 1762, NE USA English Americans resented the British desire for peace with the French in our then NW frontier, and wanted American Englishmen to pay more for their security: Tea taxes, etc. We wanted to keep growing West. Meanwhile Hispanic Americans in the pre-USA South and West realized that Spain and its alliance with France as Bourbons was a rotten vessel and their future was as Americans. Both fought together and won American Independence after 1776. 4 generations later, roughly 80 years, we had the Civil War, again ignited by Western Expansion. 4 generations later, the Great Depression and WWII and the “Great Generation”. WWII started as West as it gets: Pearl Harbor. And now 4 generations later “Trump Time” TBD. Because there is a monkey wrench before we assume another heroic generation will save the day.
I think we are also living through something historians call the “Crisis of the Third Century”. And we are not particularly well prepared to handle it. We will probably remain a prosperous country regardless. But our American Constitutional Democracy is in real danger. we are very poorly educated and yet we are the most powerful country in the world.
30% of our citizens do not know each state has 2 Senators. 30% think the “Civil War” was against Hitler. Roughly the same number think Muslims are inherently un-American, don’t deserve 1st Amendment rights, etc. 90% think you have to be born in the USA to be President and at least 50% don’t know Puerto Ricans are US citizens or what that means.
Thy are who is running this country now: our 35% least educated citizens, convinced that the only reason they don’t enjoy the same advantages their parents (Great Generation) had after WWII is because darkies are drinking their milkshake.
My point is that we are very poorly educated and because of new technology, the ignorant no longer defer to the better educated. Smartphones allow everybody to find an audience to nurture their grievances. Trump is the master of the 140 characters Twitter allows. And Trump TV (FOX) does the rest. Everyone is an expert, and Truth is not Truth!!!
